We rely on our volunteers to enable us to reach as many students as possible, we are always looking for committed individuals to assist in our operation. From one hour a week, monthly or helping out at our open days, we appreciate all hours donated.
How you can help
Our volunteers get involved across our entire operation. From supporting our classes, maintaining the stables to helping out in the greenhouse.
No experience needed
You don’t need prior experience with horses, greenhouses, or working with individuals with special needs. All you need is a commitment to our cause.
To ensure the safety and success of our programs, we require all volunteers to:

Be at least 15 years old.

Complete one of our online training courses, which cover essential topics including health and safety.
FAQ
WHEN DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS?
We need people 6 days a week throughout the day. Our season is Oct – End of May.
HOW DO I BOOK VOLUNTEERING SLOTS?
During the season all registered volunteers receive a weekly link with available volunteering slots. You book your slots directly through that link. You can book one slot at a time, or commit to multiple slots over the season.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE MY VOLUNTEERING SLOT?
Should you not be able to attend your slot, we kindly ask that you give as much advance notice as possible so that we can find a replacement for you for that session. The later the cancellation the more difficult it make plans to accommodate our students.
WHAT IF I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS INDIVIDUALS OR HORSES?
It’s not necessary to have experience with either. All our volunteers need is confidence, commitment and plenty of smiles.
DO VOLUNTEERS NEED ANY SPECIAL CLOTHES OR EQUIPMENT?
No, the only items you will need are a pair of closed shoes; ideally sneakers.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR VOLUNTEERS?
15 years is the minimum age for our volunteers.
